The unique all aluminum master cylinder incorporates the shock absorber into the master cylinder assembly. This was designed into our master cylinder in order to provide the tow vehicle operator with a warning signal when the brake fluid is at a low level. In addition, the oversized master cylinder provides the higher pressures required to run disc brakes and the added brake fluid volume to run both tandem and tri-axle configurations. This design provides for quicker stops when using traditional drum brakes due to the significantly higher pressures. Even the coupler is manufactured out of heavier gauge steel when compared to all other actuator manufacturers. For drum brakes. 2" ball.(Tongue sizes: 3"x3", 3"x4" & 3"x5").
